Eger is a town in northern Hungary. One of the popular films of the Hungarian cinema “The Stars of Eger” was shot twice here in 1925 and 1968. The film is a historical epic about the defense of the city from the Turkish invasions, as most of the scenes from the film from 1968 were shot in Bulgaria.
